About the CMP
The CMP certificate program was first launched in 1985. Its purpose is to enhance the knowledge and performance of meetings professionals. It has been awarded to over 12,000 meetings industry professionals in thirty-five countries around the globe. The exam is given at more than a dozen locations in the United States and in Europe at three dates during the year.
The CMP exam is not offered as part of this study guide.

Study Guide Teaching Methodology
It is presumed that those who take this exam have had at least three years experience in the meetings industry. The sessions reviews concepts and serve only as a study guide for the test.
The entire guide which includes 5 modules, 5 quizzes and one mock exam designed to reflect the emphasis areas of the actual exam. The guide is available online 24 hours a day and is self-paced.
