MMPC Program
The Multicultural Meetings Professional Certificate is an online, self paced course for meeting planners currently working in the industry. This course will provide tools to: understand multiculturalism; better your evaluation skills of your own, your clients and your potential destination's multicultural fluency, and negotiate and develop meeting packages that will offer a valuable and desired experience to your clients.
Teaching Methodology
The online course consists of presentations, supplemental reading, self assessment quizzes and a final exam.
Readiness to Learn Online
People working in the conventions and meetings industry and the hospitality industry usually have unconventional work-schedules, therefore online training provides flexibility to take this course that will lead to a certificate.
The course allows students to go through this process at their own pace and the student may access their course 24 hours a day.
There are opportunities along the way to assess your own progress and retention of the materials presented. When you are ready, students with a score of 70% or better on the final exam receive the certificate.
